Love being a Temp

Oh, how I love it. Grades were due today, nobody told me. One of my classes was canceled yesterday, they told me as I stared into the dark, empty classroom. I went back to my office, the one without the window, and read the news. Later, I wondered over to the staff room. There was coffee cake and coffee.

I know some Basque: "Kaisho, zer modoosh?" (the spelling's all over the place, I know...)

thanks for visiting and commenting. I really enjoy reading your blog and I think that you are an excellent writer, poet.

I didn't have a chance to learn much basque; I had a hard enough time learning Spanish! :-(

did you spend some time in the basque country?

Thanks for the kind words. You have a Bukowski-esque style yourself (have you read him?!) I learned my, "Hello, how are you?" from a Basque girl on the Costa del Sol - I was hoping she'd find it irresistable, but conversation kind of faltered after the initial greeting...
